Creative Team

Randy: Senior Graphic Artist
Randy has been a graphic designer for over 15 years. He began his career in graphic arts working for a design firm creating such items as book covers, brochures and advertising. Randy’s natural artistic talents benefited him at the beginning of his career when the graphics industry relied heavily on hand drawn illustrations and advertising comps. As the world of graphic arts changed and became more computer aided, so did Randy. Randy’s roots in the oil and gas business began as a youth traveling to several different Texas towns as his family relocated to follow his father who was employed by Arco as a ‘doodle bugger’ (seismic field technician). His skills as an artist were apparent at an early age and he was encouraged by his mother to perfect his craft. The encouragement paid off as he has won several awards and contests using his artistic talents throughout his career. Randy is responsible for graphic production with the company and is always striving for new and better ways to improve our product.

Andres: Graphic Designer/Illustrator
Andres began his artistic path in South America at the age of eight, as an apprentice to a well-known Colombian artist. After several years in private art school, Andres returned to the U.S. for his secondary education where he developed a keen interest in commercial art. In college, Andres steered his talents into visual communications technology, took on an internship at an ad agency, and began freelancing extensively for the Hispanic publishing market as a production and layout artist and Art Director. Andres is currently completing his degree in Communication Design at the University of North Texas. His recent experiences include design of corporate identity, brochures and collateral, logo development, print advertisement, tradeshow materials, and commercial illustrations. Clearly, he is highly-motivated and excited about the pursuit of his artistic passion on behalf of our clients.

Peter: Designer
Pete graduated with an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences for graphic art and design from the Texas State Technical Institute in Waco, Texas. He has over seven years experience in four-color process printing and six years graphic arts design with both Macintosh and PC based systems. He has recently branched out into web design and has two years experience designing for the Internet. His specialty is production and pre-press color applications creating layouts for a variety of print based environments including magazines, newspapers, and brochures. Over the years, Pete has attended and completed several training courses to maintain his cutting edge knowledge of Macintosh maintenance and support.

Earl: Communications Strategist/Conceptualist/Writer
Since 1985, Earl has been providing creative development services to the corporate and broadcast production industries. He creates across all media formats - traditional and new media. These experiences include work on over 250 projects in video, film, animation, print, interactive multimedia, and website development. Earl has provided strategic, conceptual and writing services to major companies such as EDS, Shell/Texaco, Nortel Networks, Centex Homes, Hillwood Development, the Staubach Companies, Blockbuster Video, The Cash Store, and Brinker International. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Trinity University. He has received Tops, Bronze Quill, Telly, Aurora and Texas Public Relations Association awards.

Pete: Copywriter
Pete has over 30 years of experience, specializing in communications projects for the oil and gas, financial services and high tech industries. His client list includes Mobil, Halliburton, Core Laboratories, Reef Exploration, Noble Drilling, Fina, Lone Star Steel and Phillips Petroleum. Pete is especially adept at explaining complex, technical issues in terms that non-experts easily understand.

Multimedia

Randy: Animation/Video
Randy has been creating graphic images for the past twelve years. His specialties are three dimensional modeling and animation. Using Lightwave and After Effects on a PC he creates some of our most powerful effects, bringing the viewer right to the drilling platform or underground with the drill bit. Randy graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Radio/Television Film and he now maintains his cutting edge skills with the challenge of learning new software as it is developed. Randy is an accomplished artist and has been honored with many awards for his educational television productions.

Richard: Information Systems Coordinator
Richard has over 10 years experience in the IT industry. His large scale IT experience includes companies such as Tandy Corporation, CompUSA, and Computer City where he was the Operations Manager. Richard's strength lies in LAN/WAN technologies from Cisco, 3Com, Novell, LINUX, and Microsoft. Richard is proficient in all things Microsoft including all desktop and server Operating Systems, Active Directory, IIS, SQL, and Exchange. He also has extensive experience with all aspects of the Mac OS.
